Save the date for May 9th, 2025! We're inviting our department's alumni to attend our annual Alumni & Scholarship night, where our alumni, scholarship donors, and scholarship recipients come together to celebrate academic achievement in the ME Department. As a plus, you'll get to see the ingenious projects that our Seniors have developed over the course of the academic year in the Senior Project class, and vote to select the Senior Project of the Year! Details are soon to come.
The Distinguished Alumni Award from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at SJSU honors a graduate from the department who has demonstrated exceptional achievements. Nominees should (1) have made significant strides in the engineering field through leadership, innovation, and/or professional recognition; (2) have had a positive impact on the mechanical engineering community at SJSU through dedicated time, talent, and/or philanthropy; and (3) embody integrity and professionalism while serving as a role model for others.
