Registration & Guest Tickets
Commencement RSVP form
Eligible Spring and Summer 2025 graduates have been sent the Commencement RSVP email. If you have not received one by March 31, 2025, please reach out to commencement@sjsu.edu with your name and student ID.
Emails will be sent to each students' "Preferred Email Address" on file with MySJSU, with a unique registration link for their ceremony. Please ensure your preferred email address is updated in MySJSU.
The Commencement RSVP form is required to attend Commencement. Note, this is different than the graduation application. Find out more about this on our FAQ page.
- Graduation Application: Required for ALL graduating students and is required to receive an invite to attend Commencement.
- Commencement RSVP: Only required for graduates wanting to attend their College/Department's Commencement Ceremony.
Guest Tickets
Guest tickets can be claimed after completing the RSVP form. Once you have successfully completed the RSVP form, you will be emailed instructions on how to claim your tickets.
A Guest ticket is REQUIRED for all guests age three (3) and up. Students can claim up to six (6) guest tickets.
Additional Guest Tickets* will be available for purchase for $20 per ticket. These are first come, first served and will be available on the ticketing website. By early May we will contact eligible graduates if additional guest tickets are available for purchase. These are not guaranteed and may vary for each ceremony pending event capacity and registrations.
